The Visual Web Access® system consists of the following:

1. Access Control readers for electric door locks control.

The readers that are used by the Visual Web Access® system have been designed and manufactured by Primion Technology A.G. This ensures the high functionality of the solution since both system hardware and software have been developed by the same manufacturer. A wide range of Access Control readers is available to suit any type of needs.

2. IDT special controllers

IDT Controllers are integrated control units that connect the Access control readers to the software. Each controller can control from 2 up to 32 Access Control readers depending on the model. Each IDT controller automatically receives any information by the Visual Web Access® software regarding the Access rights of the Access Control unit it controls.

All IDT controllers are stand-alone units and they have been designed to ensure the trouble-free operation of the Visual Web Access® system, even in cases when there is no communication with the system software due to any reason whatsoever.

IDT controllers that are used by the Visual Web Access® system have been designed and manufactured by Primion Technology A.G. This ensures the high functionality of the whole solution since both the system hardware and software have been developed by the same manufacturer. The manufacturer, Primion Technology A.G., has focused on the controller design in order to offer Access Control solutions of high-level security and functionality.

As a result of these efforts, Primion controllers are the first to be awarded a VdS Class C certificate by the German Association of Property Insurers.

3. Visual Web Access® software

Visual Web Access® is a powerful Access Control software. Designed to cover the needs of any facility, irrespective of type and size, it is highly flexible using a great number of parameters in order to adapt to the respective needs and to be highly user friendly.

Visual Web Access® can operate in a Web environment and support all common databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Borland Interbase.

Visual Web Access® system is complemented by a wide range of optional modules, such as Visitor Administration, Id - Badge Creation (for personnel and visitors), Alarm Management, Extended Event Control etc. Moreover, it is perfectly compatible with the Visual Web Time® Time & Attendance Management system, allowing an integrated Access Control & Time Attendance system set up, ready to meet any demand.

4. Proximity Ids, either cards or key tags.

Primion terminals can identify the most common proximity ID types, such as Hitag, Legic, Mifare etc.
