The
portable recording terminal offers a built in id card reader that
uses the proximity technology, a programmable watch by the computer,
built in memory for data storage, built-in screen, a leather carrying
case and a special belt clip. It’s size is slightly bigger than
the size of a cellular phone. It also has built in indicators for
recording and battery charging.
b. Check points.
These
check points are id cards that also use the proximity technology.
They are able to be placed and operate under the most difficult
environmental conditions. These ids have the size of a credit card
or a key chain or, just like the example on the picture, they have
a small hole in order to be placed permanently by using a simple
screw or nail in certain points. These ids cannot be affected by
humidity, high or low temperature, mechanical vibrations and so
on. They have a unique code number and cannot be forged.
c. The Patrol Manager software.
The
Patrol Manager software can be installed
in any computer. The communication with the portable terminal is
serial. The software retrieves all data from the built in memory
of the terminal and is capable of printing various reports of all
the times and check points. All the retrieved data can be stored
in the computer and can be also processed with other tools such
as Microsoft Excel.
In many cases, the presence of a certain employee
in its post, cannot be proven and this is a matter that may cause
organization problems to a company and employees as well.
A night watchman or a security employee that must
patrol his area within certain given periods of time, cannot be
easily proven that he actually does so.
The same stands for the salesman or the delivery
man that has to visit certain customers or point of sales.
A postman is not capable to prove that he actually
has visited all the areas that he had to, within the certain prefixed
time limits.
For all the above cases and many more, Atermon Systems
offers a simple, easy to use, cost effective and trustworthy solution.
The Patrol Manager system, which
is already used by hundreds of companies and organizations in
Greece.
